Peyton Manning all business as first game approaches

I’m not sure Peyton Manning cracked a true smile during his 15 minutes or so with the media on Wednesday.

For Colts fans, this is a good sign.

For Bears fans, not so much.

Manning’s poker face means he’s immersed in his normal weekly routine. He’s dialed in, almost to a playoff-time, no-nonsense level.

'90210' spin-off includes more diverse characters

On Tuesday night I found myself tuned into the two-hour season premiere of the new "90210" that aired on The CW Television Network. I hadn't planned on watching, despite the weeks of hype leading up to it. Being part of the generation that grew up with the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," I was initially disgruntled that the television powers that be would even think of undermining the legacy of my beloved drama.

Easiest Task for Palin May Have Been Speech

Gov. Sarah Palin could not have asked for a better setting for her solo debut on the national stage: an audience enthralled with her selection as Senator John McCain’s running mate even before she walked on stage to a roar of approval, after three days in seclusion with some of the country’s most skilled political counselors to write, hone and practice her speech.
